What are Bach Flower Remedies?
Created by a Harley Street doctor in the 1930's, the Bach Flower Remedies are 38 plant and flower based remedies that can help you manage the emotional demands of everyday life. Each flower remedy aids a specific emotion. You can take them individually or mix them together to match the way you feel.

What are Rescue Remedies?
Rescue Remedies contain a combination of 5 different Bach Flower Remedies, premixed for your convenience. They have been traditionally used to relieve feelings of anxiety, nervous tension, stress, agitation or despair and provide a sense of focus and calm.

Why would I use Bach Flower Remedies?
When we feel fulfilled, happy and positive, we tend to enjoy better health. We get more out of life and we can give more to our friends and family. But things happen. Sometimes we need a little help to stay in balance and move forward.

Bach Flower Remedies can help you take control of the way you feel and get more out of life. That's when Bach Flower Remedies can help.

What are they made of?
Bach Flower Essences are made 100% naturally from spring water infused with wild flowers, either by a sun steeping method or by boiling and a small amount of alcohol as a preservative..

How do I use or take them?
You can take the remedies in several ways.

In a glass of water:

  • put two drops of each selected remedy in a glass of water.
  • Sip as often as required until relief is obtained. If using the Rescue Remedies, add four drops to the glass instead of two.

Treatment bottles
Make up a treatment bottle
• Get an empty 30ml bottle with a dropper in the lid (we have these for sale)
• Add to the bottle two drops of each selected remedy (and/or four drops of Rescue Remedy)
• Top the bottle up with still mineral or spring water
• From this bottle take four drops, at least four times a day (especially first thing in the morning & last thing at night).

On or under the Tongue
You can also take remedies 'neat', without diluting them. Just place 2 drops directly on or under your tongue (or 4 drops of Rescue Remedy), at least 4 times a day (especially first thing in the morning & last thing at night).

If you are taking the pre-mixed emergency formula the dosage is four drops, again direct on the tongue.

Who uses Bach Flower Remedies?
Bach Flower Remedies can be taken by everyone - children, babies' animals and plants included - safely and without fear of side effects, overdosing or addiction. They do not interfere with any other Remedies or medications.

*Please note that Bach Flower Remedies are preserved in a small amount of alcohol , so please be cautious if you have issues around the use of alcohol.

How do I know what remedy to take?
There are 7 Bach Flower groups, which makes it easier for you to separate into feelings, such as, fear, despair, loneliness, uncertainty etc.

Ask yourself, how do I feel? Do I feel fear? What kind of fear? or I feel despair, what kind of despair?

Once you define your feelings you can then refer to the groups to determine which of the Bach Flower Remedies is appropriate for you.
